DPRD Kabupaten Cilacap merupakan institusi pemerintahan di daerah yang mempunyai hubungan dan kerjasama dengan pemerintah daerah, organisasi pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan tugas pokok dan fungsinya bagian hubungan masyarakat dan protokol di DPRD adalah mendukung sistem komunikasi politik baik internal maupun eksternal. Ada 3 (tiga) fungsi yang pertama, melaksanakan keprotokolan pimpinan, fasilitasi tamu dan media center. Kedua, mengidentifikasi dan mengantisipasi citra negatif di masyarakat. Ketiga, mempublikasikan identitas dan kinerja institusi dengan tepat dan benar melalui media massa baik cetak maupun elektronik untuk membangun citra positif institusi

Abstract

Cilacap Regional House of People’s Representatives is one of goverment intitusion which have a relation  and work togather with regional government, other local organizations and public. Base on job discriptions, the fungtions of public relation and protocol in scope of this institution is supporting system in political communication at internal or external relations. There are 3 (three) fungtions: first, Doing protocol of leadership, facilitate guest and media center. Two, identification and anticipation negative images. Three, Pricisely and correctly publishing identity and performance institution on mass media or social media for building positive image.
