PERAN PEMIMPIIN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA DOSEN DI KAMPUS STIPAR SOROMANDI BIMA

Abstract


The Existence of Higher Education Institutions in Indonesia significantly influences the level of education. Quality education on campus is undoubtedly associated with a high level of faculty performance in teaching, research, and community service. This is an ideal step for faculty members to enhance the educational quality in higher education. The leadership at Soromandi Bima Tourism College (STIPAR) strongly supports its faculty to work progressively in creating a better organizational climate and structure, fostering a sense of ownership and close-knit camaraderie. This approach contributes to STIPAR Soromandi Bima's productive leadership management. This research aims to examine the leadership strategies influencing faculty performance at STIPAR Soromandi Bima. The study was conducted on the campus of STIPAR Soromandi Bima with a sample size of 19 faculty members, utilizing a qualitative descriptive research method to describe the phenomena systematically, factually, and accurately. The research findings indicate that the leadership of the STIPAR Soromandi Bima institution actively plays a role in facilitating the improvement of faculty performance. As a supportive element, leaders are expected to provide clear direction, control, and guidance in decision-making processes at STIPAR Soromandi Bima.
