ANALISIS PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN ABU SEKAM PADI DAN SUPERPLASTICIZER (CONSOL SS-8) TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN BETON MUTU TINGGI

Abstract

ABSTRACT
Concrete is one of the construction needs of modern society. In Indonesia, almost all building
constructions use concrete as a building material, such as in the construction of buildings, bridges, roads and
others. In this study, the addition of rice husk ash and superplasticizer (Consol SS-8) was carried out. To determine
the compressive strength of fc '45 MPa concrete at the age of 14 days and 28 days with variations in the addition
of rice husk ash (ASP) 0%, 5%, 10%. , 15% and the addition of a superplasticizer (Consol SS-8).
The research process was carried out at the Structural Engineering Laboratory of the Civil Engineering
Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Wijayakusuma University of Purwokerto, the test object used was a
cylinder, the quality of the concrete planned for fc '45 MPa which was tested at the age of 14 and 28 days with
treatment before testing. This study tested the concrete with a cylindrical specimen for the compression test
(diameter 15 x 30 cm) as many as 40 samples consisting of 4 variations and each variation of 5 samples.
From this study, the results of the 28-day-old concrete compressive strength sample test were the
highest in 5% rice husk ash variant concrete (ASP) with an average compressive strength value of fc '39.19 MPa
and the lowest was in the concrete variant of rice husk ash (ASP) 0% with an average compressive strength value
of 33.30 MPa.

ABSTRAK
Beton merupakan salah satu kebutuhan konstruksi untuk masyarakat modern. Di Indonesia hampir
seluruh konstruksi bangunan menggunakan beton sebagai bahan bangunan, seperti pada konstruksi bangunan
gedung, jembatan, jalan dan lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan penambahan abu sekam padi dan superplasticizer
(Consol SS-8) bertujuan untuk mengetahui kuat tekan beton fc’ 45 MPa pada umur 14 hari dan 28 hari dengan
variasi penambahan abu sekam padi (ASP) 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% dan penambahan superplasticizer (Consol SS-8).
Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Rekayasa Struktur Program Studi Teknik Sipil, Fakultas Teknik,
Universitas Wijayakusuma Purwokerto. Benda uji yang digunakan berbentuk silinder, mutu beton yang
direncanakan fc’ 45 MPa yang diuji pada umur 14 dan 28 hari dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan perawatan
sebelum pengujian. Penelitian ini menguji beton dengan benda uji selinder untuk uji tekan (diameter 15 x 30 cm)
sebanyak 40 sampel terdiri dari 4 variasi dan masing-masing variasi sebanyak 5 sampel.
Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu uji sampel kuat tekan beton umur 28 hari tertinggi pada beton varian abu sekam padi
(ASP) 5% dengan nilai kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar fc’ 39,19 MPa dan terendah pada beton varian abu sekam padi
(ASP) 0% dengan nilai kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar 33,30 MPa.
