PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TENTANG PRIORITAS KEBUTUHAN FISIK TROTOAR DI KOTA PURWOKERTO KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The sidewalk area functions to accommodate all pedestrian activities and sidewalk furniture paths. The pedestrian in question is everyone crossing the road, in this case the sidewalk, a sidewalk lane with furniture lanes sharing space with the pedestrian path. Street furniture path as a place to place various elements of street furniture. Both are needed by pedestrians to move comfortably. The fact is that the use of sidewalks is not optimal, or in other words, the public's interest in walking on the sidewalk is still low. This fact encourages researchers to make further studies on sidewalks that aim to find people's perceptions of the priority of the physical needs of sidewalks that are desired by the community. The results of the analysis and discussion are grouped into 3 (three), namely the main priority desired by the footpath is the physical condition of the sidewalk wide enough to intersect, namely 1.5 m. roads and equipped with shade trees. The third priority is neat and clean sidewalks and not obstructed by electricity poles, telephone and billboard poles. The author hopes that future sidewalk planning will be prioritized according to our research results, so that the sidewalk is more comfortable for walking.

ABSTRAK

Area trotoar berfungsi menampung segala aktivitas pejalan kaki dan jalur perabot trotoar. Pejalan kaki yang dimaksud adalah semua orang yang melintas di lintasan jalan dalam hal ini adalah trotoar Jalur trotoar dengan jalur perabot berbagi tempat dengan jalur pejalan kaki. Jalur perabot jalan sebagai tempat untuk meletakkan berbagai elemen perabot jalan, seperti tempat duduk, rambu-rambu lalu lintas. Keduanya dibutuhkan oleh pejalan kaki agar beraktivitas dengan nyaman. Fakta yang terjadi adalah pemanfaatan trotoar belum maksimal, atau dengan kata lain minat masyarakat untuk berjalan kaki di trotoar masih rendah. Kenyataan tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk membuat kajian lanjutan tentang trotoar yang bertujuan mencari persepsi masyarakat terhadap prioritas kebutuhan fisik trotoar yang diingnkan oleh masyarakat. Hasil dari analisa dan pembahasan dikelompokkan menjadi 3 (tiga) yaitu adalah prioritas utama yang dikehendaki oleh pejalan kaki adalah kondisi fisik trotoar yang lebarnya cukup untuk bersimpangan yaitu 1,5 m. Prioritas kedua adalah kondisi trotoar yang rata, tidak licin dan memiliki batas yang jelas dengan jalan serta dilengkapi pohon peneduh. Prioritas ketiga adalah trotoar rapi dan bersih serta tidak terhalang oleh tiang-tiang listrik, telpon dan tiang papan reklame. Penulis berharap perencanaan trotoar yang akan datang diprioritaskan sesuai hasil penelitian kami, sehingga trotoar lebih nyaman untuk berjalan kaki.
